Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our Residential Group Home team at our Wilmington, Delaware. Some responsibilities include: To provide direct care and supervision to participants in the residential group home setting. To ensure a safe, healthy, secure and recovery-oriented environment, which promotes growth and development. To facilitate participant growth and development toward independence in self-care, daily living, socialization and community integration. To participate in the development and implementation of the participants’ recovery plans. Hiring for part-time work schedules Total of 16 hours, 8 hours per day, and weekend schedule Saturday and Sunday. Yes, we can . Work around candidates advance notices and current schedules for part-time new hires to start and first week attend our day shift orientation in Philadelphia. New hire orientation requirements include only for the first four (4) day workweek Mon-Thu at our Philadelphia location, with mileage reimbursement. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required and active Delaware state license certification CNA. Ability to respond to disruptive behavior. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge and ability to provide hands on assistance with activities of daily living. Possess a valid driver’s license with and acceptable driving record. Scope: A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing direct care to patients in a residential group home. Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, bend, kneel, stack, stoop, which includes direct intervention with participants. Ability to climb and descend stairs. Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Requires crisis intervention techniques in crisis situations.
