The Patient Service Representative II (PSR II),PLEASE READ :This is a fantastic opportunity at a prestigious organization with room for future growth! The ideal candidate will follow established practices, policies and guidelines while providing clerical and administrative support to the medical department team,Duties may include:-Administrative duties such as answering incoming telephone calls; scheduling and obtaining authorization for appointments-Coordination of procedures/tests and other ancillary services; patient check-out and rescheduling of follow-up appointments-Eventual training for new PSRs-Insurance verification functions; chart/medical records preparation-Sorting and deposition of mail and patient information. Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus!YOU NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE AS PSR TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLEThis PSR II must function at a high-level and have a thorough understanding of the PSR role in their department as well as a general knowledge of the ambulatory/outpatient physician setting and its interrelation with the larger Health System organization.
