Sales and Operations Manager needed ASAP!

Job Description:

An established and growing manufacturer and distributor of OTC and personal care products has an immediate need for an experienced Sales and Operations manager. Responsibilities include:

-Supervision of account managers making sure orders are processed in an efficient manner

-Training new hires and continuing to mentor current employees

-Working closely with the warehouse staff to prioritize day to day duties

-Use of decision making skills to determine how to handle short or out of stock situations

-Monitor and forecast item sales to order and maintain correct inventory levels

-Maintaining incoming product schedule

-Overseeing incoming containers schedule: Customs clearance, FDA holds, determine "hot" containers, drop off and pick up of containers, etc.

-Daily email communication with Korea office regarding inventory schedule, pricing issues, packaging issues, etc?

-Inventory reconciliation

-Analyze shipping costs and looking for ways to strategically ship orders and build relationships with freight companies to reduce costs

-Working closely with President and Vice President to develop new accounts

-Participate in bidding process with large retailers to obtain new business

-Act as point of contact for national accounts including direct communication with buyers via email and telephone

-Working with new customers looking to develop private label health/beauty items

-Working with customers looking to obtain documentation to register our products in non U.S. markets
