role : We are looking for a Point of Sale (POS) Specialist who is
passionate about providing the highest standards of service to
enhance and support sales from a Point-of-Sale perspective within
the Boutique. They will work to make the client experience more
efficient through partnership with other members of the Boutique to
ensure that sales are processed accurately. This position plays a
critical role in the daily maintenance of the point of sale. The
POS Specialist will also assist other members of the boutique to
maximize client-facing time and will support all areas of the
Boutique as needed. What impact you can create at CHANEL : ---
Primary responsibility is to support a seamless client experience
by accurately processing sales --- Support opening and closing of
registers and assist with handling cash and deposits and
coordinating POS closing workflow --- Process receipts, refunds,
and credits to customers --- Oversee check refund procedures ---
Interface with clients to explain policies and transaction
documents as needed --- Support accurate and complete client data
capture --- Bag, box, wrap or gift wrap merchandise in accordance
with CHANEL standards --- In addition to, responsibilities related
to the point of sale and/or client service You are energized by:

Logistics: --- Minimum 1 year of related experience, including
prior experience at point of sale in a service industry. --- Moves
with pace and energy while maintaining attention to detail --- A
people person who can work both independently and with others ---
Minimum High School Diploma --- Able to lift 15 lbs. --- Must have
flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends
and some holidays --- Heart of House: Requires in-store presence to
facilitate the opening and closing of the boutique; the receiving
of inventory; shipping of product to support sales to ensure
optimal client service *Chanel, Inc. reserves the right to edit,
change, or make exceptions on designations where circumstances
where deemed appropriate. Compensation: --- The anticipated base
salary range for this position is $24.00 through $28.00. Base
salary is one component of the total compensation for this
position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for
