The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, with a strong
team player mentality. Organization and follow through is an
absolute requirement of this individual. The position is ideal for
professional development, as the individual will work closely with
the firms Design Director across all aspects of design, project
development and project management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the
following:
- Work directly with the Design Director and Project Manager to
assist with day-to-day design tasks and long-term projects and
assignments.
- Assist with FF&E sourcing, Pinterest boards, furniture
layouts and dimension verifications in CAD
- Create project punch lists and stay on track of the progress of
all items
- Source and research creative design solutions - we wear many
hats!
- Create and manage design presentations, project schedules and
documentation
- Manage order tracking and order troubleshooting
- Liaise with vendors/suppliers and fabrication workrooms
- Use photoshop as needed for image augmentation and render
development
- Assist Development department as needed, this may include
project data entry, project budget assistance, invoice tracking,
site visits, and note taking
- Take direction and execute with absolute follow throughPosition
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of design firm experience, required
- Proficient AutoCad skills, required
- Experience with Word, Excel, & Outlook, required
- Experience with Studio Designer, strongly desired.
- Experience with Adobe Suite: Photoshop (Required), In
Design/Illustrator, (Strongly desired)
- Interior Design/Interior Architecture education and
background
- High-end residential interior design experience, an asset
- Commercial or Hospitality experience, a huge plus
- Schematic Design and Design Development process

- Ability to read and understand floor plans and construction
documents
- Ability to produce furniture floor plans and elevations
- Ability to redline plans for handoff to Architect and/or GC
team.
- Meeting minutes and site photo management
- Manage sample procurement and maintain sample library
- Site visits to our CA properties, as needed
- Must be based in Los Angeles and have a reliable carDesired
