A private family in the Beverly Hills neighborhood of LA is seeking a stellar full-time nanny for their two children (ages 5 and 3) to start in or around August of 2023. The schedule will vary but will guarantee 40 hours each week between Monday and Friday except for on rare occasions or during travel. Most days will not start until about 2pm and will go until 7pm, but some flexibility will be needed to stay late if they have a dinner or an event, or if one parent is traveling. Availability will also be needed on days where school is closed (which will be morning starts) or for occasional weekend shifts. -The two children are going to be in school full-time (from 8:30 to 3pm and 9am to 2pm) in two separate locations. The nanny might need to help with pick-up and drop-off, will bring kids to after-school activities and play-dates, and will generally keep the children on their daily routines and ensure they have what they need to thrive in their day. The family has a housekeeper and cook, but there would be some light cleaning/organization of kids rooms/play-room, and occasional cooking for the kids as well. The ideal candidate is calm and easy-going, warm and kind, and engages the children at their level while keeping them safe and holding boundaries. This is a blended family made up of a few half siblings, so you must be comfortable interacting with other team members in childcare and housekeeping, and should have a helpful community-minded attitude.The utmost discretion is needed in this role, and similar experience in a high-end home is a must. -The nanny must drive and have their own car, and it would be a huge plus if the nanny can swim. Someone who can travel domestically and internationally is a must. The family spends summers in the Hamptons, and if the nanny is a great fit, they can join the family for part of or the whole summer. The salary range offered is $35 to $55 per hour - ($72,800 to $114,400 for the 40-hour week) and the rate will reflect the experience and skillset of the hired candidate.
