If you would like to join a very busy, professional, medically oriented Optometric Practice please read further.We are looking for a team member who is driven with excellent customer service skills, efficient multitasking skills, a background with at least two years experience in a medical office with check-out and billing experience, and has strong time-management skills.We desire that you have knowledge of the following:

• Customer Service & Conflict Resolution
• Patient Communication
• Vision & Medical Insurance Plan Eligibility Verification
• Data Entry
• ICD-10 coding
• Multi-taskingThis position includes the following duties:
  • Checking out patients
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Posting Charges & PaymentsThe ideal candidate will have experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems, communicating with patients effectively, multitasking. Optometry knowledge is a plus. Willing to cross train. Insurance verification (Strong Knowledge). Medical Terminology. Work mandatory Saturdays.Salary will be commensurate with experience'
