THE JOB We are seeking a Head of Clubs to oversee all business operations for the Club division, ensuring that all venues operate within the scope of Live Nation standards, policies and procedures. Managing a team of General Managers and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer for Live Nation Concerts within Venue Nation, this role is a key leader in the live entertainment business. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers and vendors Identify and maximize revenue drivers while optimizing the overall guest and artist experience within the market Work to innovate and learn new skills that can be leveraged to run a more efficient and effective organization Develop strategic venue plans that are aligned with divisional and corporate budget goals and initiatives Work with Human Resources and other applicable groups to foster career development opportunities and achieve the company's diversity goals Collaborate with Marketing, Premium Seat Sales, Food and Beverage, Ancillary Product and Sponsorship leadership teams to create innovative offerings that drive incremental revenue growth, fan and partner engagement, and profitability within the Clubs organization Work with regional team to manage food and beverage and merchandise performance and strategies (point of sale ratio, variety, etc.) Works closely with Live Nation promoters and operations and provides direction on standards and compliance Works with GMs for proper forecasts in ROME, operational and production expenses, as well as ancillary revenue streams Excellent working knowledge of overall Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures Implements and complies with the companies' audit procedures Ensures that General Manager performance is monitored and reviewed accordingly Any other reasonable duties as required by the executive management Work closely with key civic governmental departments, as well as interaction with the community in general This position typically supervises a number of exempt employees in multi-unit, multi-state environment Provide support to GMs and tour security directors to fulfill tour security requirements Spend time on site at each venue during shows prior to load in and until load out WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Minimum 8-10 years experience as a general manager or operations manager in a hospitality related business Must have extensive background in event management, sales and promotion Ability to perform all job duties and responsibilities Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Requires excellent communication skills, both verbally and written Must have expertise in profitability analysis and budgeting Must have experience managing a team of leaders Experience in ROME, Tableau, Microsoft Business Objects preferred Exhibits strong problem-solving skills in long term and immediate situations Ability to communicate respectfully with diplomacy across all levels of business is essential Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) Ability to work evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work under pressure to meet strict and fluid deadlines BENEFITS & PERKS - Our motto is 'Taking Care of Our Own' through 6 pillars of benefits: HEALTH: Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for you and your family, including Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) YOURSELF: Paid time off policy including holidays, sick time and day off for your birthday, free concert tickets WEALTH: 401(k) program with company match, Stock Program Reimbursement FAMILY: New parent programs & support including caregiver leave and baby bonus, infertility support CAREER: Tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment internal growth and development programs & trainings OTHERS: Volunteer time off, crowdfunding network EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
