VP/SVP, Business Development Officer (Beverly Hills, CA)
Overview Primary role of the New Business Development Officer
("BDO") is to develop new business for Pacific Western Bank (the
"Bank"), Identifying opportunities for new deposit relationships,
servicing the banking needs of existing BDO clients, and referring
lending opportunities to the appropriate loan department. New
business shall be defined as new relationships to the Bank with no
previous customer relationship.
Proactively reach out to businesses and individuals in the
region that fit the Bank's customer profiles - be visible,
attending industry relevant events and other functions in order to
drive and identify opportunities
Understand the Bank's products and services. Be able to
communicate the Banks products and process in a clear and concise
manner to prospective clients. Work closely with the Operations
department in opening new accounts and servicing existing
Become well versed in Bank policy and industry regulations
involving the opening and maintenance of new accounts
Cross sell and promote Pacific Western Bank products and
Develop and implement strategies to increase portfolio growth
from current business customers
Create detailed proposals including account analysis performance

Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Outgoing and conversational individual, able to carry
conversation in a professional manner
Proactive and energetic, always thinking of new ways to drive
the business and identify new sources of opportunities
Experience in a similar role with a similar sized (or greater)
publicly traded financial institution
Existing contacts and potential book of business - existing
client relationships that may establish a new banking relationship
with the Bank
Specific industry expertise with a proven track record of
penetrating one or more specific industries (such as the H.O.A.
business or comparable) to facilitate the organic growth of one's
