Job Description:

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Class B Driver to join our safety-conscious Transportation team. This role is pivotal for the company as it involves the direct handling and transportation of various hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials originating from customer sites to our facilities. The ideal candidate will execute daily routing assignments, ensure timely pick-ups, and maintain compliance with all government regulations and company policies. This position not only contributes to protecting the environment but also upholds our mission of safety and sustainability at every turn. Operate Class B vehicles for the transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste across various sites Ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, and company regulations and guidelines Prepare shipping documents and maintain log book as per regulatory requirements Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on vehicles to ensure operational safety Coordinate with dispatch for optimal routing and schedule adherence Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training to enhance job safety performance Ability to handle hazardous materials safely Knowledge of DOT and EPA regulations Proficiency in maintaining log books and preparation of transport documents Effective communication and coordination skills Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting and moving materials Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements preferred Clean driving record
