Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a
skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and
efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong
commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to
handle different types of freight, including flatbed, refrigerated
trailers, tankers, and dump trucks. Duties Operate and drive
various types of trucks including flatbed, refrigerated trailers,
tankers, and dump trucks. Ensure timely delivery of freight to
designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety
regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the
vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain
accurate records of deliveries, including route details, mileage,
and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers
regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues on the road.
Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling to
prevent damage. Follow all company policies and procedures related
to safety and compliance. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's
License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in
truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and
freight handling. Familiarity with various truck types such as
flatbed, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks is
preferred. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as
required by company policies. Strong attention to detail and
commitment to safety practices while on the road. Excellent time
management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability
to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced
environment.
