Job Description Job Description Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney (Hybrid) Location: Los Angeles, CA Work Type: Hybrid Experience: 4–6 Years Compensation: $250,000 – $280,000 Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a mid-level Mergers & Acquisitions Associate to join its Corporate Practice Group in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a nationally recognized team on sophisticated corporate transactions across industries. Key Responsibilities: Handle M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating primary deal documents. Lead due diligence processes and oversee deal execution. Manage transaction timelines and coordinate internal legal specialists and junior associates. Interact directly with clients and take significant ownership of work product. Advise clients on general corporate matters in connection with transactions. Requirements: 4–6 years of experience in a corporate practice, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Strong academic background and excellent legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
