Regent's corporate operations group, MCO, is seeking a seasoned and innovative technology leader at its headquarters in Beverly Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will have a robust IT background, with various global technology projects, ERP implementations and complex data migrations under their belt. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience leading and managing internal teams, vendors and offshore resources. Resilience, strong leadership, the ability to balance shifting priorities, and strategic vision will be the key factors to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee the IT department for Regent/MCO and its portfolio comprised of retail, e-commerce, media, and manufacturing
• Create the IT strategy and systems architecture for the portfolio businesses
• Assess the current ERP technologies and determine the future path of these systems
• Lead the ERP implementations while being hands on in all stages: from discovery & planning, to design and deployment
• Identify and implement other systems and software for the businesses. This includes, but is not limited to: technology for the e-commerce websites, POS systems, CRM, and others
• Recruit, mentor and manage multi-level teams of technology professionals globally
• Effectively manage core technology infrastructure, contracts, vendor, and consultant relationships
• Collaborate with the M&A team to strategically evaluate investments, successfully assess the execution of potential M&A projects
• Perform due diligence for potential new acquisitions
• Continually maintain the Technology department's productivity and develop methods for its improvements
• Facilitate a culture of productivity and offer strategic guidance to the team
• Prepare the companies for their next stage of growth and transition
  Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience building and managing large engineering teams
  • 10+ years of experience in demonstration of strong technical and engineering skills, including hands-on experience as an engineer/architect
  • Experience with major global IT implementations in various industries, including but not limited to: retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce
  • Experience with ERP implementations, preferably with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Excellent project management and execution skills
  • Experience with creating a team from scratch
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Strong follow-through on all projects; ability to bring projects to timely completion
  • Mixed experience in big corporations and start-ups
  • Previous experience in acquisitions, corporate carve-outs, and restructurings preferred
