Job Description:
Responsible for recruitment of all mid-level departmental staff.
Develop training programs across all departments and make sure
training is aligned with the goals of the business. Coordinate
staff training for new hires and existing personnel with department
heads. Directly responsible for on-boarding of all new hires.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements and manages processes to attract, evaluate, and refer
candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee
referrals, on-site recruiting, and other sourcing methods.
- Oversees the organization's recruiting program, policies, and
procedures
- Evaluates and communicates key metrics to recommend appropriate
recruitment strategies and ensure positions are filled efficiently
and effectively
Reviews and approves content and placement of advertisements and
job postings. Secures appropriate resources for staff to be
successful.
Oversees the recruitment application tracking system, interview
process, background checks and hiring and onboarding process
- May be responsible for the recruitment process for senior level
and executive positions
- Work with management team and departmental heads to identify
recruiting needs and provide strategic direction and services in
recruiting, new hire orientation, employee relations, training, and
coaching.
- Ensure policies and procedures comply with all applicable
federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits
programs including bonus plans, insurance and retirement plans and
paid time off by benchmarking industry programs.
Develop company's training and developmental activities including
orientation, new hire training, development plans and ad hoc
functional training. Primary role of synthesizing operations manual
into job specific functional training program and maintaining
training programs so that they exceed industry standards.
Evaluating individual and organizational performance to ensure
training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
Optimizing training processes for efficiency.
Selecting and managing resources and technologies required to
develop, manage, and deliver training specific to each position
(such as, most updated training material, on-line classes,
lectures, e-training, real estate management training, etc.)
Frequently evaluates and reviews the training material and
implements necessary changes and improvements.
Stays informed on pertinent policies and procedures by frequently
reading and continued analysis of the company's SOP's.
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations (DOO) and
department heads, co-ordinate training for new and existing
employees in accordance with the training program.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Five to eight years of experience in human resources establishing
employee relations, legal compliance, compensation, and benefit
programs, as well as staff training and experience in the most
updated training systems and materials
Experienced in applicant tracking systems, preferably ICIMS
Experienced in Linked-in and other advertising and recruiting
applications
A proven track record of training program development and
management
Bachelor's degree in education or human resources
Strong MS Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills and HRIS
Strong verbal and written communication skills
In-depth experience in property management industry preferred
