partners launching in early 2021. Human Resource Generalist Job
Summary If you are a hands-on, roll-up your sleeves and jump in the
trenches, HR Generalist looking for a fast, paced, incredibly
dynamic environment where you will participate in all aspects of
HR, you have found your next job! You will be an integral part of
the of the HR department in supporting our team's strategy to help
retain and grow best-in-class talent and provide employees with a
great working experience. You must come with a solid foundation of
HR best practices and knowledge of labor laws. Supervisory
Responsibilities This position has no direct reports and serves as
a support, partner, coach, and HR resource for the team. Essential
Functions At times, this role will be project-focused, identifying
an area that needs attention, and helping create and implement a
new system. This position will research and monitor HR compliance
requirements and keep senior HR leadership informed. This will
include input on compliance and helping formulate the company's
long-term strategy, working proactively with other departments and
our external partners, for solutions and implementation. Areas of
focus include, but are not limited to the following areas: safety,
workers' compensation program and claim management, reasonable
accommodation, wage and hour, and predictive scheduling; onboarding
and off-boarding, employee engagement and performance management.

The duties responsibilities and duties listed may change as the
position grows. Responsibilities / Duties -- Conduct onboarding and
off-boarding to help provide a positive experience throughout the
employee lifecycle. -- Help guide specific business functions in
areas such as talent management and annual HR initiatives
(performance reviews, compensation reviews, etc.) -- Support
employee engagement initiatives and internal HR communications. --
With the help of Senior HR Leadership, own HR Compliance and be
responsible for managing, inventorying, assessing, controlling, and
helping develop compliant policies/procedures to reduce HR
compliance risks nationally. -- Oversee all aspects of HR
compliance, including I-9 and Everify compliance, records
retention, rest and meal periods, workers' compensation claim
handling and reporting, reasonable accommodation, wage and hour and
predictive scheduling. -- Research and monitor new laws and
regulations, and changes in HR compliance requirements, and inform
senior HR leadership of any changes requiring modification of
company policies and processes. In partnership with our outside
vendors, help manage the company's reporting requirements,
including Affirmative Action (OFCCP) and EEO-1. -- Track CDC and
LADPH for change in COVID-19 regulations and mandates. --
Facilitate the COVID-19 contact tracing and return to work
processes with the help of the HRBP and Operations Team. -- Lead
compliance-related projects and initiatives and proactively
formulate risk mitigation strategies. -- Collaborate with LMS,
Operations and Management teams to ensure appropriate training is
provided to our teams regarding compliance requirements. -- Oversee
and administer the day-to-day operations and communications
regarding work place injuries and workers' comp cases. -- Track
work related injury trends by location and identify areas that need
correction and/or improvement. -- Track training certifications and
expirations. -- Work on ad hoc project teams to address any
deficiencies in HR compliance identified and develop or modify
policies and processes to ensure ongoing compliance. -- Ability to
comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of
applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
-- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the
organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation
practices, administrative and best practices. -- Ability to focus
on more than one business unit at any given moment and prioritize
circumstances and issues. -- High social and emotional
intelligence, with experience cultivating strong relationships with
diverse people groups. -- Detail-oriented and organized with
unrivaled ethics, integrity, and ability to prioritize effectively
to accommodate tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced
environment. -- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build
strong relationships and become a trusted partner for our teams.
Skills -- Strong understanding of HR practices, including
employment law and regulations, on a Federal, State and Local
level. Multi-state knowledge preferred. -- Precious experience
handling workers' compensation. -- Excellent verbal, written and
interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to tailor work
product for your audience. -- Familiarity with HR Information
Systems, recruiting platforms and other relevant technology. --
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook,
Word, Power Point, etc.) -- Excellent time management skills with a
proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. --
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think out
of the box to find a solution. -- Experience working with large and
geographically dispersed non-exempt workforce. -- A master of
details; accuracy is critical. -- You are comfortable liaising with
legal, HRBPs and multiple levels of management. -- You can navigate
between the worlds of employee experience and Company
responsibility, and you would never sacrifice one for the other.
Requirements Work Authorization Must be able to provide
documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United
States. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. Education /
Experience / Credentials Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of
three (3) years' relevant experience in Human Resources with
working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines. It is the
employee's responsibility to secure and maintain current status of
all required certificates, licenses, or registrations when required
by local, state, or federal government agencies. SHRM Certified
Professional (SHRM-CP) or PHR certification a plus, but not
required. Language Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and
interpret business documents in the English language. This position
requires a minimum of conversational Spanish. Bi-lingual in the
Spanish language preferred. Reasonable accommodations may be made

functions. Travel This position requires the ability to travel
nationally, to multiple business units, as needed. Must have access
to reliable transportation locally, as this position also requires
some time to be spent at the corporate office and at business units
locally. COVID-19 Precautions This position will be based at the
Corporate office, although there is flexibility to work remotely
during the COVID-19 pandemic. Personal protective equipment is
always required when at the office, as well as following social
distancing guidelines, and health and safety measures of hand
sanitizing and cleaning procedures. Physical Demands The physical
