Job Description:
Marriott International, a premier global lodging company with
properties spanning 139 countries, is seeking a dedicated Gatehouse
Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in
maintaining the security and hospitality standards synonymous with
our brand. The Gatehouse Attendant will be responsible for managing
access to the facility, ensuring a welcoming environment, and
providing exceptional service to guests upon their arrival and
during their stay. Monitor entrances and exits, ensuring secure and
efficient access to the facility. Welcome guests upon arrival,
assisting with check-ins, providing information, and directing them
as necessary. Maintain logbooks for all visitors and vehicles
entering and exiting the property. Handle basic guest inquiries and
provide excellent customer service, escalating more complex issues
to the appropriate personnel. Regularly patrol the property to
ensure safety and compliance with all hotel regulations. Assist
with emergency response procedures as needed. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills Basic proficiency in computer usage and
data entry Ability to handle crises and make quick judgments
Customer service orientation Training in hospitality management or
security is a plus.
