Job DescriptionIl Fornaio Cucina Italiana is hiring knowledgeable, experienced, service-oriented dining room Lunch, Brunch and Dinner Servers. Experience in a full service restaurant is needed.

Il Fornaio is an authentic Italian restaurant company. We provide an excellent training program, growth potential for promotion to Management, employee recognition and a full benefits package. Weekends are a necessary. All new hires go through E-Verify system.

Prior experience as a server, waiter, waiters, wait staff, runner, restaurant crew member, restaurant team member and other part time FOH restaurant jobs highly desirable.Requirements/ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer and a la carte food service Serving full menu and bar including wine and specialty cocktails.* Communicating orders clearly with the bar staff and kitchen * Continuous table maintenance * Delivering drinks and food correctly and efficiently Closing out checks and reconciling cash in a timely fashion * Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Maintaining a positive teamwork attitude * Communicating clearly, professionally and respectfully Monitoring guest satisfaction* Being able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds * Having a flexible work schedule including weekend availability
