Job Description Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center’s Birth Center
is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care for every
stage of the childbirth journey. With a focus on comfort, safety,
and cultural inclusivity, the center offers private labor and
delivery suites, a dedicated operating room for cesarean births,
and a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for
advanced newborn care. New mothers have access to breastfeeding
classes, a breastmilk donor program, and bilingual support groups
to foster confidence and connection. The center supports a range of
family-centered services, including cord blood banking and
comprehensive gynecologic care. With a strong commitment to
maternal wellness and education, Sharp Chula Vista ensures mothers
and families are supported before, during, and after delivery. The
new program at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center will allow OBHG to
impact an additional 2,650 annual deliveries and 2,900 outpatient
triage visits. Chula Vista is a vibrant city located in the San

Opportunity: OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts
whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically
improves patient safety and satisfaction. This opportunity involves
working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that
every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by
an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with
exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for

Full-time Hospitalists have the freedom to create their own
schedules – typically seven 24-hour shifts per month – with no
