Job Description:

Chief Executive Officer (HappyCo, Inc., Carlsbad, CA): Spearhead the company's strategic direction and operations to ensure consistent year-over-year growth; Ensure financial goals, company milestones, and expansion objectives are met or exceeded annually; Champion the ideation, development, and launch of cutting-edge technological solutions to address market needs, outperform competitors, and create unique value propositions; Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with strategic investors, engaging in transparent communication, provide performance updates, and collaboratively strategize to optimize investment returns and company growth; and Lead the expansion of the company's talent pool with a focus on hiring professionals from the real estate multifamily industry, ensuring the organization remains agile, cohesive, and primed for industry leadership through effective recruitment, training, and retention strategies. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Extensive experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models in the Multifamily Proptech (Property Technology) and Maintenance industries; Demonstrated experience in capital raising, showcasing the ability to secure investment and funding to drive company initiatives and growth; Experience understanding industry trends and aligning them with corporate strategy; Proven experience scaling a startup in a competitive landscape; Advanced technical understanding of how Property Management Systems operate, with a hands-on approach to product development and innovation - must have the technical acumen to know what is feasible from an integration and functionality perspective; Advanced experience with Asset Management Systems and Maintenance Centralization; Experience with sustainability and ethical business practices, driving the multifamily industry towards more responsible and efficient operations; Experience developing and launching innovative products/solutions that have become industry standards for property management efficiency and tenant satisfaction; and Experience establishing strategic partnerships with key industry players, resulting in enhanced product offerings and expanded market reach. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Visual Communications, Graphic Design or a related field, and at least five years of experience as a Technical or Managing Director or a related occupation. Employer is willing to accept a three or four year degree. Option to work from home is available. Travel is required 20% of the time in the US, Canada and Australia for company and customer meetings.
