    dick clark productions (dcp) is the world's largest producer and proprietor of televised live event entertainment programming with the "Academy of Country Music Awards," "American Music Awards," "Billboard Music Awards," "Golden Globe Awards," "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest," "So You Think You Can Dance," and the "Streamy Awards." dick clark productions owns one of the world's most extensive and unique entertainment archive libraries with more than 60 years of award-winning shows, historic programs, specials, performances and legendary programming.

    The Role:
    The Vice President, Content Partnerships, is responsible for actively developing revenue, in a sales capacity, across dick clark productions properties, inclusive of: The Golden Globes, Academy of Country Music Awards, The Billboard Music Awards, The Streamys, American Music Awards and New Year's Rockin' Eve. As an active member of the MRC Live & Alternative Senior Executive Team, the SVP will drive top line growth through customer base, as well as growth revenue from existing clients, to achieve revenue goals.

    This individual will successfully lead the Partnerships team in sales management, contract retention, financial growth initiatives, and to grow business with existing accounts, as well as expanding the global customer base. The VP is responsible for maintaining and strengthening dcp's relationships with distribution partners. The VP will also be expected to play a key role in helping shape the overall growth strategy, working as a member of dick clark productions' Senior Executive Team. The role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer, and is located in Beverly Hills, with travel required.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Client Partnership Development and Account Management:
    Actively pursue revenue from new and existing clients, to achieve annual, and event revenue goals, with a focus on sales
    Identify new business opportunities
    Establish relationships with key decision makers for client and marketing/media agencies
    Work closely with dick clark productions' Management team to develop business pipeline, and execute client/partnership deals
    Lead major contract negotiations
    Develop plans for the attainment of dick clark productions' partnership goals, and report progress to CRO and members of dick clark productions' Senior Executive Team
    Work closely with the Marketing team to define and implement go-to-market strategy, within select categories
    Establish and maintain relationships with client personnel
    Plan, execute, and track existing contract renewals

    Leadership:
    Drive a high-performance culture in line with dcp's anti-racist company policy, and Diverstiy, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives
    Manage staff performance and career development, including identification and cultivation of high potential performers, as well as remediation of low performing staff through coaching, performance improvement, and separation as necessary

    Basic Qualifications:
    12+ years of experience in content partnerships sales, business development, and account management, in the music industry, live event entertainment, tentpoles, or unscripted television, strongly preferred
    Minimum 4 year college degree
    Experience in negotiating multi-platform, multi-year deals
    Deep and established relationships with Eastern and Western region clients and agencies.
