The Senior Manager of Learning & Development will be responsible for developing and managing Discovery Land Co.'s key learning and development programs and processes. This Individual will provide strategic guidance in the overall design and structure of all learning programs to support DLC's growing talent in leadership, skill building and drive accelerated development experiences to meet business and individual needs. The Sr. L&D Manager will ensure the learning strategies are current and will advance our culture for all DLC employees for long term growth and future opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders from across the company to design and implement leadership development experiences that include talent assessment initiatives, team effectiveness programs, and coaching solutions. Manage the relationship and roll out of Talent Plus across all of DLC In partnership with CHRO and senior leaders, develop succession plans for critical roles Work with Senior Leaders and the HR team on building development plans for high potential leaders Translate business strategy into learning requirements, enabling processes, roadmaps and lifecycle recommendations of learning programs and trainings Identify relevant trends, topics, performance expectations, and learning objectives to anticipate learning needs, opportunities, and prioritization with stakeholders. Design and develop leadership development concepts and materials that leaders can use from across the company to develop themselves and future upcoming leaders. Facilitate Train the Trainer, results oriented, leadership development sessions to leaders at all levels across the entire organization preparing them to develop their leaders and teams. In partnership with the CHRO, lead the evaluation and enhancement of the performance management process and systems, including goal cascading, goal progress monitoring and feedback, performance evaluation, and calibration of the annual performance evaluation. Create and implement career development programs to increase retention and build our leadership pipeline. Oversee the management of the LMS and all L&D vendors Create framework for analyzing, tracking and measuring success of learning and development programs Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 7 years of Learning and/or Organizational Development experience with at least 3 in a leadership role Experience creating learning and development approaches, leadership development, change management and organizational development initiatives Demonstrated experience developing modern and innovative learning solutions Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; ability to work under tight deadlines and plan, organize and carry out multiple, detailed tasks Comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on execution Demonstrated business acumen: intellectually curious about organizational systems and structures, business strategies, and informed about emerging industry trends. Outstanding interpersonal skills; demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels. Technologically astute with experience with LMS systems, project management tools and integration of systems to support the business Analytically sound with experience creating a framework for assessing, measuring and tracking L&D programming success About Discovery Land Company Founded in 1994 by Michael S.
