Position Overview

MCO is currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Performance Marketer. Reporting to the Performance Marketing Lead, the person who will succeed in this role should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and capable of quickly shifting from task-to-task. This individual is well versed in media buying strategy and tactics across the digital landscape (Programmatic Display, Social, SEM, Search, Email) with an emphasis on lower-funnel tactics and eCommerce optimization. Organization, attention to detail, and a personal standard of excellence will allow this individual to thrive in this role, as we work to effect massive positive impact and growth for our portfolio partners.

This is a full-time role, based 5 days a week in our Beverly Hills office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with portfolio company leadership (i.e. CMO, CEO, Marketing/eComm Directors) and Performance Marketing Lead on all projects & media buys
  • Develops strategy and manages the media execution across digital channels & email campaigns
  • Continuously audits media effectiveness with attribution and ROI analyses
  • Is responsible for the effective delivery media as it ladders back to business KPIs
  • Monitor site conversion and coordinate with dev + eComm team on potential enhancements
  • Oversees/provides weekly insights & reporting
    Skills / Competencies
    • Deep experience in brand management, brand/media strategy, and direct-response marketing
    • Understanding of eCommerce system infrastructure and partnerships
    • Project management and organization; prioritization
    • Key platform knowledge: Facebook Ads, Google Ads, DV360, Snapchat Ads, Pinterest, Criteo, Google Analytics (Analytics 360), Google Tag Manager
    • Experience in executing and evaluating the success of Email marketing campaigns
    • Working comprehension of proper data handling & protocols
    • Strong understanding of various attribution models and the implications of the various models
    • Ability to work quickly and accurately, while thinking around corners
      Qualifications
      • BA/BS degree
      • Strong proficiency in excel and data analysis is a must
      • 5+ years in a paid marketing/media buyer role
      • 5+ years in a people-manager/project manager role
        Bonus
        • Proficiencies in: SQL, HTML5, Javascript, AMPScript, Python
        • German language reading & writing ability
        • Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud
        • Looker (or other data visualization software)
        • Google Data Studio
        • Understanding of SEO principles
