JOB SUMMARY:As Director of Talent Strategy your main responsibility
will be to identify key talent for the team to onboard on to
Triller. Additionally, you will set appointments with the creators
and their talent teams. You also will hire and manage your Talent
Growth Managers in order to bring more unique and engaging talent
on Triller. This is a senior-management position in the Talent Team
and will report to the Head of Partnerships. Your responsibilities
may change as the team and company's needs and objectives grow and
change.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:--- Manage the Talent team budgets and P&L
statement--- Provide leadership and supervision for the Talent
team--- Participate in Company's leadership meetings and
initiatives--- Collaborate with other partnership teams to optimize
engagement opportunities and source talent--- Ensure that no less
than 25 Talent are on-boarded to Triller each month--- Strategize
best practices for how to source, develop and engage Talent---
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and
within budget--- Organize and Schedule Talent Meetings and
engagement events --- Lead weekly team meetings --- Assist in the
definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant
stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility--- Ensure resource
availability and allocation--- Measure project performance using
appropriate tools and techniques--- Perform risk management to
minimize project risks--- Delegate project tasks based on junior
staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience
levels--- Meet budgetary objectives for merchandise & events and
make adjustments to project constraints based on financial
analysis--- Attend Los Angeles and other talent-based events to
maintain talent relationships--- Attend conferences, and training
as required to maintain proficiency--- Perform other related duties
as assigned
SKILLS:--- Experience supervising teams of minimum 5 team
members--- Solid organizational skills including attention to
detail and multitasking skills--- Ability to remain calm and
collected in high pressure situations--- An understanding of
current social/digital platforms --- Strong interpersonal skills
and extremely resourceful--- Ability to multi - task and prioritize
duties --- Possess good understanding of web, social, and talent &
creator landscape--- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite
and Slack.--- Exceptional written and verbal communication and
collaboration skills.--- College BA preferred and 10+ years of
relevant work experience--- Previous work for a talent agency,
Social Media company or similar talent management experience
preferred--- Entertainment/Startup experience is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:--- Ability to talk or hear in order to give
and receive information and instructions--- Ability to stand, walk,
sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or
controls--- Ability to reach with hands and arms--- Ability to use
computer keyboard up to 80% of the day--- Visual acuity, ability to
adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other
computer equipment--- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
