A well-recognized commercial real estate properties group is seeking an individual to provide active support to the property operations/management team of a commercial/retail portfolio. This individual will play a key role in property management, working with administrative, legal, construction, tenant/vendor relations, and other facets of the organization's business to manage assigned properties within the portfolio. The person in this position will be responsible for effectively managing tenant relations, being a go to resource for all inquiries. He/She will draft reports, provide administrative/organizational support, financial review and budgeting, assist with AR/AP, interact with existing and future tenants, and much more. There is much potential here to hone your skills within the APM role and be on a leadership fast track to develop property management leadership skills.The ideal candidate for this role will have interest in property management and some experience in commercial real estate operations, be detail oriented, and adapt to changing priorities.   • Liaise with many company departments, including Leasing, Development, Legal, etc., to ensure the efficient day to day operation of the organization and its properties
  • Frequently interact with tenants; utilizing strong customer service skills to provide notices, answer questions, and deliver timely and accurate responses to both tenant and vendor needs
  • Draft spreadsheets and reports, tracking key stats on financials, contracts, job costs, and more
  • Effectively use databases, and other reporting tools, to create written reports for department heads
  • Play a major role in vendor management by answering questions, spearheading invoice collection and payment distribution, and keeping open communication to maintain strong relationships
  • Manage and adhere to project budgets, and assist with the creation of project timelines
  • Manage and oversee capital improvement projects, coordinate close-out and prepare notices, final walk etc., minding critical lease delivery dates and obligations
  • Partner with members of Property Operations to ensure accurate monthly financial review
  • Maintain the overall organization of the office's electronic and physical filing systemsRequirements:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Must be proficient in general computer operation, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Project, and other reporting software
    • Previous experience with financial and budget reporting
    • Yardi experience strongly preferred, especially in terms of AP/AR and property management applications
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to accommodate fluctuating needs and deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
