shape the future of technology and production. Purpose We are
seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician who supports
the daily operation, reliability, and safety of Divergent's
manufacturing and R&D facilities. This role focuses on
executing maintenance, responding to issues, and learning building
systems through real-world experience. The technician works under
general direction and contributes to a team that keeps critical
infrastructure running in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
This is an execution-focused role for a technician who can follow
procedures, troubleshoot common problems, and steadily grow
technical breadth across mechanical, electrical, and building
systems. The Role Perform routine troubleshooting, repairs, and
preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, plumbing,
electrical, compressed air, safety systems, and general facility
infrastructure. Respond to facility alarms, work orders, and
maintenance requests under established procedures. Assist with
operating and maintaining utilities that support manufacturing and
R&D equipment. Support installation and basic commissioning
activities for new equipment and facility upgrades under direction.
Monitor building systems and report abnormal conditions, safety
concerns, or recurring issues. Work with vendors and contractors
during service visits and follow site procedures. Complete assigned
preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule. Maintain
accurate work records and equipment history using the CMMS. Follow
all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate
with other technicians and share practical knowledge when needed.
Basic Qualifications Ability to lawfully access information and
technology subject to U.S. export controls. High school diploma or
GED required; technical training or certifications are a plus. 2–4
years of experience in facilities maintenance, mechanical trades,
or building systems. Mechanical aptitude with interest in learning
electrical, HVAC, and controls systems. Ability to read equipment
manuals, procedures, and basic technical drawings. Ability to
troubleshoot routine issues using established processes.
Comfortable working independently on assigned tasks and asking for
support when needed. Basic computer skills for work orders,
documentation, and system tracking. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
and work in varied indoor and outdoor environments. Willingness to
work overtime or weekends when required. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, or
high-reliability environments. Familiarity with cleanroom or
controlled facility systems. Trade certifications or licenses
(HVAC, electrical, mechanical, etc.). Experience using lifts or
material handling equipment. Work Environment Work near operating
equipment and in moderate to high-noise areas. Lifting, climbing,
standing, and physical activity required. Overtime and weekend work
may be required. Compensation At Divergent, our pay range is based
on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates
at levels T03 - T05 as evaluated through our interview process.
Technician / T03: $26.00 - $35.00 Lead Technician / T04: $29.00 -
$40.00 Senior Technician / T05: $32.00 - $44.00 Pay Range $26—$44
