Job Description Job Description Job Title: Metal/Plastic Parts Masking and Plating Operator Job Description Join our team to engage in the intricate process of preparing metal and plastic parts for plating. This role involves cleaning, masking, wiring parts, operating plating machinery to apply coatings such as zinc, copper, or nickel, and monitoring chemical baths. Ensure quality control by adhering to blueprints and specifications, and contribute to packaging and maintaining a safe work environment. The position offers a range of responsibilities from assembly and preparation to technical operation. Responsibilities Prepare metal and plastic parts by cleaning, masking using tape or plugs, and wiring/racking for plating. Set up and operate plating machines, both manual and automated. Immerse parts in chemical or electroplating baths, including chrome, zinc, copper, and nickel. Inspect parts for finish and adherence to specifications, ensuring quality control. Verify part counts and interpret blueprints accurately. Maintain cleanliness in the work area and monitor chemical levels, adding chemicals as necessary. Follow all PPE and safety protocols, reporting equipment issues promptly. Utilize grinders, buffers, or sanders for surface finishing operations. 1st shift Apply now and expect a call from Nallely Angeles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
