Job Description:
Great Wolf Resorts, a renowned leader in family-focused
entertainment and leisure, is seeking a Director of Engineering to
oversee the maintenance and engineering initiatives at our Great
Wolf Lodge locations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety,
efficiency, and continuous operation of all mechanical and
structural aspects of our indoor water parks and resort facilities.
As the Director of Engineering, you will lead a diverse team of
professionals to maintain the highest standard of excellence,
enhancing the magical experience for every guest at our resorts.
Lead the engineering team to ensure efficient operation and
maintenance of all facility systems including water treatment,
HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems. Develop and implement
maintenance strategies, emergency procedures, and resource
management plans to ensure optimum operational integrity and safety
compliance. Collaborate with other department leaders to align
engineering strategies with overall resort goals and guest
satisfaction metrics. Manage capital projects, including
renovations and upgrades, ensuring projects are delivered on time,
within scope, and under budget. Oversee the training and
development of the engineering team to ensure all members possess
up-to-date technical skills and certifications. Conduct regular
audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and
enforce adherence to national safety regulations and standards.
Prepare detailed reports on department activities, budgets, and
outcomes for senior management review. Strong leadership and team
management skills Proficient in project management and familiar
with related software tools In-depth knowledge of mechanical,
electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems Excellent problem-solving
and analytical abilities Strong communication and interpersonal

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is
desirable.
