Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12
Therapeutic Center in Burbank, IL is seeking a skilled
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover an FMLA leave for the
remainder of the school year. This contract position offers the
unique opportunity to work within a Special Education Cooperative
providing essential diagnostic and direct speech therapy services
in a structured, supportive environment. Responsibilities: Conduct
diagnostic evaluations and prepare comprehensive reports. Provide
direct speech therapy services to a small caseload of early
childhood (EC) students in the afternoon, serving approximately
9-10 students twice weekly. Participate in meetings related to
student progress and program planning. Deliver in-person services
only, as virtual therapy is not available in this setting. Desired
Qualifications: Certification as an SLP with the Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience working in school settings,
preferably within special education or therapeutic centers. Strong
diagnostic and evaluative skills, comfortable managing reports and
documentation. Ability to engage effectively with young children
requiring speech therapy. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
and professionalism. Location: Burbank, Illinois Duration: Contract
through the remainder of the school year Setting: Therapeutic
