Job Description Job Description Estimator Estimator Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, with a focus on retail and medical office spaces. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in estimation software to ensure competitive and profitable bids. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, specifically in the retail and medical office sectors. Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates. Collaborate with project managers and architects to understand project scope and requirements. Utilize estimation software such as Bluebeam to create and manage estimates efficiently. Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to determine competitive pricing for bids. Prepare and present estimates to clients and stakeholders for approval. Assist in the management of change orders and other modifications during the project lifecycle. Maintain accurate records of all estimates and assist in the bidding process as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction industry, with a focus on retail and medical office projects. Proficient in Bluebeam, Bidmail and CMIC are ideal. Experience with project management tools such as Procore and Accubid is a plus. Ability to analyze complex project specifications and bid documents. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation. Familiarity with change orders, RFIs, and self-perform work is an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
