Job DescriptionWARRANTY CLERKFull TimeLos Angeles, CA, USREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Some knowledge of automotive parts
  • Two years of experience in a general office position
  • Ability to use computer, ten-key, microfiche machines and to read vendor catalogs
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have your booster vaccine if booster eligibleDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Process warranty claims, Verify criteria required by factory or distributor
    • Post edits on computer
    • Prepare CSI documents
    • Track parts by tagging
    • Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor, or to be scrapped
    • Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims
    • File sales documents after they are posted, and the commission is paid
    • Reconcile flooring interest statements
    • Reconcile selected vendor accounts
    • Serve as telephone operator backup
