Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing organization in Woodland Hills, California. In this role, you will oversee key accounting operations and contribute to the financial success of a dynamic, expanding organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and leadership to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: • Support the month-end financial close process, including preparing, reviewing, and analyzing journal entries and reconciliations. • Generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other relevant financial regulations. • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and perform variance analysis to support financial planning. • Support audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure accurate reporting. • Develop and enhance accounting processes and internal controls to improve efficiency. • Supervise and mentor accounting team members to encourage attention to detail and growth. • Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals. • Handle special projects including system enhancements, internal control development, and ad hoc financial analysis. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a plus • Japanese language proficiency is a plus. • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Proficiency in accounting systems such as Oracle or Netsuite is preferred. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and financial modeling. • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on detail. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
