exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative, and
results-oriented Regulatory Controller to join a revolutionary
fintech music exchange company in the US. This position is integral
in the planning and execution of our corporate initiatives and our
ideal Controller is self-motivated, results-oriented,
forward-thinking, and has a demonstrated track record in finance.
Musicow is a fast-growing company looking for an individual who is
highly adaptable and is energized by the idea of learning and
growing with the scaling of the Company's business. Leadership
opportunities within the Controller role include developing and
maintaining Musicow's reporting processes and accounting policies
and partnering with key internal and external stakeholders while
aligning controls and compliance with our SEC requirements and
corporate compliance framework.As a Regulatory Controller at
Musicow, you will be responsible for the following:Assist
management with important financial decisionsPrepare financial
documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and
statements to understand the financial state of the
businessSupervise employees in preparing financial reports and
budgetsMonitor financial reports and determine ways to reduce
costsKeep up-to-date on the financial market to understand how to
maximize profits and find new expansion areasUnderstand the
financials of Musicow US in order to meet legal requirements and
keep the financial state in good standingWork closely with
accounting and oversee financial reporting and accurate
documentation of financial statements like payroll, tax forms,
balance sheets or income statements.Oversee audits that may be
performed in accordance with U.S. GAAS (issued by the Auditing
Standards Board of the AICPA) or PCAOB standards.Lead in-depth
analysis of variances in Regulatory filings, incorporating the
understanding of accounting and regulatory issues and their impact,
and present the financial results to Senior Management and US
Regulatory Agencies.Oversee the filing of the necessary financial
statements for Reg A offerings with the SECBecome a trusted partner
to key stakeholders across the company by continuously sharing your
expertise on best practices and effective processesProactively
identify and implement process improvements including systems
enhancements and integrations, policy changes, workflow changes and
financial controls in support of the future growth of the
CompanyEnhance reporting packs for key regulatory reviews, support
the development of a globally-consistent consolidated view of
regulatory informationPreparation, analysis, and review of various
Capital calculation requirements (Market Risk, Leverage, Own Funds,
Credit, and Counterparty Risk), supporting weekly, monthly and
quarterly reviewsAccurate and timely reporting information to
Senior Management, the Business Unit and externally to Regulatory
bodiesAct as the lead contact on financial issues and questions
related to rules and regulations of the SEC and other Regulatory
bodiesAbout YouExcellent verbal and written communication
skillsProblem-solving skills and resourceful
thinkingDetail-oriented with excellent organizational
skillsAttention to detail and analytically drivenThe ability to
communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the
finances of the business and justify certain financial
recommendationsAdvanced math skills to make accurate calculations
and estimatesGood understanding of international financeAble to
navigate through the financial requirements of Reg A securities
filingsExpertise in various investment assets, including stocks and
equities, funds, and alt investmentsDeep technical knowledge,
including complex debt and equity securities, stock-based
compensation, and revenue recognitionPrevious experience working in
a growing tech companyMinimum 5+ years of financial
analysis/reporting experience, preferably US Regulatory Reporting
experience. Strong familiarity with GAAP/SEC financial

accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is requiredA
master's degree in a related field is a plusGood problem-solving
skills and ability to provide optimal financial solutionsKnowledge
