POSITION: Accounting/Operations AssistantLOCATION: Los Angeles, CAJOB TYPE: Full Time/PermanentThe Lede Company, a full-service communication, strategy, and social impact consulting firm, specializing in corporate, brand, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors, is seeking an Accounting/Operations Assistant to join the Finance and Operations team in our Los Angeles office.With dedicated Talent, Brand, Strategic Communications, Content, and Social Impact divisions, we work with our clients to advance business and social outcomes through innovative storytelling, media, campaigns, and partnerships. Our service offerings draw on our expertise, relationships, and resources, all of which enable us to exceed client expectations and ultimately, deliver results.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Process transactions, issue checks, update ledgers & budgets etc. Reconcile credit cards and merchants & resolve discrepancies Enter financial transactions into internal databases Assist with audits, fact checks and resolving discrepancies Other accounting and administrative duties as needed Provide support to the Operations department Perform basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, handling mail etc. Handle communication with clients and vendorsQUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in related field with work experience QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred Highly proficient in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel Exceptional attention to detail Strong time management & verbal and written communication skills Takes initiative and is resourceful Excellent analytical skills Familiar with basic accounting principles Professional manner Ability to multitask & remain motivated and positiveMORE DETAILS: Full-time staff role with benefits, must be based in Los Angeles Must be authorized for employment in the United StatesABOUT THE LEDE COMPANYThe Lede Company is a full-service strategy, communications and social impact consulting firm.
