-THE ROLEDo you like the big picture? Reporting to the VP of
Corporate Planning the Financial Analyst will support the
consolidation, prep, and analysis of the monthly and quarterly
reporting exercises for the entire company. You will directly
contribute to reports, decks, and analysis that the C-Suite will
use during quarterly earnings calls and Board of Director's
meetings.WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Provide timely, accurate and meaningful financial analysis of
variances between actuals, forecast, budget, and prior year
- Support ad hoc requests, including financial and operational
metrics analysis for investor presentations, CEO/COO presentations
and employee presentations by the CEO
- Support the consolidation of the annual budget shared cost
allocation process
- Ensure data integrity exists between Oracle (ERP system) and
BPC (Forecasting system)
- Support the quarterly earnings process
- Support Corporate Accounting SEC reporting requirements for
10-Q and 10-K reporting of financial results and operational
metrics
- Support Corporate Accounting & Tax by providing accurate and
timely financial information
- Other duties and ad hoc analysis, as assignedWHAT THIS PERSON
WILL BRING
- Bachelor's Degree required from a top-tier university
(Finance/Accounting preferred)
- 1-2 years of relevant Financial Planning experience (budgets,
forecasts, etc.)
- Entertainment industry experience a plus
- Intermediate MS Excel skills & experience (pivot tables,
vlookups, sumifs), and proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
- Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude
- Must be flexible with hours to accommodate workload
fluctuations
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal to all
levels of the organization
- Ability to participate in a collaborative team
