This Sr. Tax Dir. / Partner Position:

Our client, a premier boutique Business Management Firm seeks a Tax Director to join their team. The tax team is composed of talented professionals with considerable experience dealing with high net worth families and individuals. Firm is seeking a partner in the Tax Area and offers a strong path to partnership.

Responsibilities: ? The Tax Manager will serve in a direct client management role. In addition, the candidate will help manage all aspects of the quality, timeliness and efficiency of client deliverables, including tax return preparation, tax planning and advisory services.

Client Management: establish rapport with sophisticated clients to gain their confidence, gaining an intimate knowledge of their lives so as to be able to anticipate their needs.

Work with colleagues as well as external advisor's to deliver integrated advisory services that exceed client expectations.

Tax Planning and Research to interpret the Internal Revenue Code, various State Tax Codes, Federal Estate and Gift Tax Code, Private Letter Rulings, Revenue Rulings and Tax Court Cases.

Provide analysis of financial, gift, estate, and income tax issues of high net worth individuals and families.

Complex transactional planning and structuring Tax Compliance

Oversee preparation of individual, partnership, foundation, fiduciary and gift tax returns for high net worth individuals and affiliated entities; possibly prepare or assist in the preparation of the more complex tax returns. Evaluate and analyze accounting software for system upgrade. Administration Recruit, train, and develop tax staff; contribute technical discussions and administrative initiatives in tax department meetings Requirements:

Bachelor?s degree in Accounting

CA. CPA is required.

MS in Tax highly preferred.

At least 7 years relevant experience in tax and Business Management.
